Main Idea: Paul warns and encourages the Colossians to grow in their faith.


Reflection:

1. In verse 4, Paul warns against being deceived by "fine-sounding arguments." What kinds of arguments do you think Paul is referring to? Pastor Glenn has mentioned in the series and why might they be deceptive?


2. What is the connection between being "disciplined" and having a "firm faith in Christ" in verse 5? How do these characteristics help protect against spiritual deception?


Application:

1. Search your heart in prayer and ask the Lord to reveal any deceptive ideolgies that have made a way into your life.


2. In what ways can you actively pursue a more "disciplined" approach to your walk with Christ? Eg. Tithting, Bible Study, Prayer, Silence and Solitude, Sabbath rest, etc.
