Main Idea: Paul's goal is that we would be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that we may expreince the full riches of complete understanding.


Reflection:

1. Paul emphasizes being "encouraged in heart and united in love" in verse 2. Why do you think encouragement and unity in love are foundational to the spiritual growth of believers?


2. What do you think Paul means when he refers to "the full riches of complete understanding" in verse 2? How does this relate to knowing the "mystery of God, namely, Christ”?


Application: 

1. Paul prayed earnestly for the believers he had never met. Pray for two people by name in our Voyage community. 


2. Is there an area in your life where you’ve been seeking wisdom from worldly sources rather than from Christ? How can you shift your focus to rely more on the wisdom and knowledge that are found in Him?
